Officer Jesse Hartnett, 33, suffered a broken arm and nerve damage after being hit three times in a shootout with a man he was pursuing.

Person dies after falling from building, landing on oxygen tank at Midtown hospital

FDNY and NYPD respond to an Oxygen leak at ST Lukes Hospital in Manhattan, caused by a person who jumped from an adjacent building and landed in the tank storage building. Patients at the hospital were placed on portable oxygen temporarily until the problem can be corrected. The incident is ongoing at this time.
