THE SEAN HANNITY SHOW

Dana Loesch Slams Obama Gun Control Hypocrisy President Obama is set to formally announce his plans to expand background checks and other gun-control measures via executive action today. The move is meant to bypass congress and critics claim that the action constitutes an overreach of presidential authority. As Fox News explains:

At the centerpiece of Obama's plan is a more sweeping definition of gun dealers that the administration hopes will expand the number of gun sales subject to background checks. At gun shows, websites and flea markets, sellers often skirt that requirement by declining to register as licensed dealers, but officials said new federal guidance would clarify that it applies to anyone "in the business" of selling firearms.

Radio host Dana Loesch is amongst critics who claim the president's latest action is pure hypocrisy.

"I find his whole stance to be entirely inconsistent," Loesch said on Monday's Hannity. "It's really hard to take seriously a president who has all of this rhetoric on gun control when just this past November this administration, the Department of Justice and the Prison Bureau decided to go ahead with this early release program of thousands of felons, many of whom were violent, some of whom had additional firearms charges and convictions."

Hilarious New Cruz Ad Takes on Illegal Immigration Texas Senator and GOP presidential hopeful Ted Cruz has released a hilarious new ad that takes aim at illegal immigration. The ad is a take on Senator Cruz' statement that left-wing rhetoric on the illegal immigration crisis would be much different if those entering the country were taking the jobs of the liberal elite.

The Cruz campaign says of the ad:

The Cruz for President campaign today announced a new TV ad, "Invasion", highlighting the impact of illegal immigration on American jobs. The ad makes the point by showing men and women dressed in business clothes running across the border as Cruz describes how the immigration debate would take on a different tone if those illegally entering the country were taking the jobs of lawyers, bankers, or journalists.

Cruz notes that as President he will triple the border patrol, build a wall that works, and make securing the border a top priority. The ad will run statewide in New Hampshire beginning January 5.
