Mohawk Local School District officials said Izaha Akins, of Marion, Ohio, visited the high school in December and claimed to be a lawmaker replacing another senator. They realized they'd been duped when Republican Sen. David Burke (pictured), of Marysville, showed up to speak weeks later, as scheduled. Izaha Akins, 18, faces felony charges for the December deception at Mohawk High School.

Nicholas George Lehmeier, 28, was charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon for the July attempted shooting after his wife filed a complaint earlier this month.
