Trump: The Word "Conservative" Is Not That Important"
Billionaire
Donald Trump has been criticized in the past for having once held a
myriad of liberal positions on topics ranging from abortion to gun
control. Critics say that his past positions belie the GOP frontrunner's
claim that he is a true conservative. At Monday evening's townhall in
Las Vegas, Trump addressed critics of his conservative credentials.

campaign trail. Trump now leads the GOP lack with 36% of the vote. Marco
Rubio is now in second place with 21% of voters saying they'll support
the Florida senator, while Texas Senator Ted Cruz has moved to third
place with 17%. Rounding out the GOP field are Ohio Governor John Kasich
and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson who have 12% and 8% respectively.
The new poll is challenging conventional wisdom which held that moderate
candidates including Marco Rubio and John Kasich would benefit the most
from Jeb's departure...continue reading. |
