New Poll Spells Bad News for Cruz
It's
been a rough 24 hours for Texas Senator Ted Cruz. After a disappointing
third place finish in Tuesday's Nevada Caucuses, a new poll is showing
that Cruz could be in trouble in his home state of Texas.
The poll, released by Emerson College Polling Society, shows that while Cruz maintains a lead in the Lone Star State, he is now neck and neck with Donald Trump.
According
to the poll, Senator Cruz commands 29% of the vote, while Donald Trump
is right behind with 28%. The one percent difference is within the
poll's 5.4% margin of error. Also gaining on Cruz is Florida Senator

Donald Trump won Tuesday's GOP Nevada Caucuses, with 46% of
caucus-goers casting their ballots in his favor. Trump's win in Nevada
