THE SEAN HANNITY SHOW

Sean Asks Cruz About The Possibility Of A Brokered Convention With billionaire Donald Trump retaining his lead over the rest of the GOP candidates for president, the specter of a brokered convention in July continues to haunt the party. Should Donald Trump fail to reach the 1,237 delegates needed to lock up the nomination, a battle on the convention floor will decide the party's choice for the presidential race.

For his part, Texas Senator Ted Cruz opposes any efforts to guarantee such an outcome.

"Anytime you hear someone talking about a brokered convention it is the Washington establishment in a fevered frenzy," Cruz told Sean at CPAC. "They're really frustrated because all of their chosen candidates, all of the golden children, the voters keep rejecting."

"They've seized on this master plan that we go to a brokered convention and the DC power brokers will drop someone in who is exactly to the liking of the Washington establishment," Cruz continued. Billionaire Donald Trump is known for his brash style at the podium, but what was it like to grow up with the Donald as your father? "Tell me a story when you were young and your father got really pissed off at you," Sean asked Trump Jr.

"I was probably seven or eight years old and my dad came home from work, it was a rough day," Trump Jr. began. "I was a little hyper and young and I probably had a little of the Trump bravado as well. He had just come back from a long day at work, I guess it was a bad day. He said, 'listen Don, go upstairs and get me a Coke.' I looked at him and said 'I'm not your expletive maid!'"

"Woah!" Sean laughed as Don Jr. recalled the tale.

"I don't know what I was thinking, I had a moment where I thought I was tougher than I really was," he continued. "I have never seen the man move so quick in my life. I mean the fear of God went into my eyes. They went up like saucers. i saw him coming at me and I ran." Unfortunately for the young Trump his mother Ivana, who he described as an "old-school European disciplinarian" intercepted him before he could get away from his enraged father who preceded to "let him have it."
