Sec. DeVos Releases Statement About Being Physically Blocked From Entering School Education Secretary Betsy DeVos is speaking out about being physically blocked from entering a DC public school. Protesters blocked DeVos' entrance to Jefferson Middle School Academy on Friday morning. "I respect peaceful protest, and I will not be deterred in executing the vital mission of the Department of Education," DeVos wrote in a statement. FAKE NEWS ALERT: New York Times Smears President Trump With Blatantly False Information President Trump took a shot at the New York Times this morning for publishing an article in which they stated that he hadn't spoken to Chinese President Xi Jinping since November 14th of 2016. As it turns out, the president had spoken to the Chines leader on Thursday. After President Trump's tweet, a number of liberal journalists ran to the defense of Times, claiming the newspaper had, in fact, written that the two leaders had spoken.
