SEE YA: Anthony Weiner Sentenced to 21 Months in Prison |
Disgraced
former Congressman Anthony Weiner was sentenced to 21 months in prison
on Monday for sending sexually explicit pictures to an under-aged
teenager in 2016; completing the liberal legislators fall from grace
that began back in 2011.
According to the New York Post, the New York democrat and one-time
Mayoral candidate was slapped with the nearly two-year long prison term,
along with three years of supervised release and a $10,000 fine, and
will turn himself into the court on November 6th.
"I was a very sick man for a very long time," Weiner told Judge Denise
Cote. "I was the adult...if I had done the right thing I would not be
standing before you today." |
