DEATH OF THE BABIES

She Killed Her Baby.

Actually, she killed both of them. They were twins.

Cindy had already aborted her babies when she came to our Pregnancy Center. She really didn’t want to do it, but her boyfriend forced her. They couldn’t afford children right now, he said. So she is the one left with the guilt, despair, and the knowledge that those innocent ones would never be born.

The Cindy who came into the North Georgia Pregnancy Center that day was not the same Cindy who left.

Cindy gave her life to Christ after praying with one of our post abortion counselors. She could tell that things changed the instant she opened her heart to God. The guilt was gone and she felt hopeful.

Another young girl came into our Center pregnant. We’ll call her Mary. It was her husband who wanted her to have an abortion. She was totally confused not knowing what to do or who to believe. Our Center Director spent a long counseling session with her. She changed her mind. She is close to delivering her baby boy and he already has a name.

In Cindy’s case a soul was saved. In this one, a life was saved.

The North Georgia Pregnancy Center serves four counties, sometimes more, in the North Georgia corridor.

Girls as young as 13 come in already pregnant or seeking to learn if they are pregnant.

We are there to help. We never turn anyone away and we never ask for money from our clients.

Our mission is to offer compassionate Christian, support to women and young girls in an unplanned pregnancy.

We offer counseling, Earn-While-You-Learn courses, diapers, wipes, maternity clothes, ultrasounds, and more to these women and girls desperate for guidance and direction.

We educate our clients about the dangers of abortion and the epidemic of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).

Currently 25% of high school graduates have an STD and don’t know it. This is a tragedy. There are now 50 known STDs out there. Some sterilize, some cause cancer, others can kill.

In the last three years we have doubled the size of our offices and are beginning to be more proactive in the community with public educational outreaches to help stem the increase in unplanned pregnancies. We have also begun to teach abstinence as the only option in the public schools.

This year we hosted our first community-wide “Love and Sex” forum for parents and their children. The house was packed. We plan to do more in the future in other venues.

We need your help to continue and expand our efforts.

Please prayerfully consider what you can give today.

You may never meet the Cindys and Marys that come our way, but you can help ensure their stories have a happy ending.
