ObamaCare Deadline Passes
ObamaCare's open enrollment
period officially ended yesterday. Of
course, we know that this is a soft deadline, as Americans simply had to get in
line for coverage rather than complete the process. It's sad that it wasn't
surprising to hear that healthcare.gov failed not once but twice on the critical deadline day.
This was even after they said that this was not going to happen, though
we can't take anything they say seriously any more. Especially when it comes to ObamaCare, we've
been lied to time after time. Anyway, the
taxpayers have spent $677 million on this website, and yet it still can't function
properly. Only government can screw up
that badly. It's a joke.
Looking for Another Joke? What's also a joke is the
claim that nearly seven million Americans signed up for coverage. What the Obama administration, Democrats and
much of the mainstream media won't tell you is that these seven million
Americans haven't necessarily paid for coverage. If you haven't actually paid for a plan, then
you do not yet have health insurance.
How difficult is that to understand?
The problem is that the administration isn't forthcoming with the
information regarding how many people have actually completed the process and
paid for plans. You are telling me that
after spending $677 million and with all the technology available for our
government to track nearly every movement we make, they are somehow incapable
of tracking how many people actually obtain healthcare coverage? That's absurd. This is why some people have accused the
administration of possibly cooking the books. Jay Carney denied that this was the case, but
why else wouldn't they just be honest? |

America to Washington: ObamaCare is Unfair!
By the way, new polling
shows that three-fourths of Americans believe that the differing deadlines and
extensions associated with ObamaCare is unfair.
Of course it is unfair. Obama has
made a mockery of the rule of law, simply changing things on a whim and this
doesn't sit well with many Americans who see how this can be abused for
political gain. There have been 37 major
fixes or delays associated with ObamaCare.
At this point, who knows what to believe. This is why law professor Jonathan Turley
says we are at a “tipping point” in this nation, with Obama assuming the role
of an imperial presidency. What's interesting to note is that Democrat voters
are suddenly rallying behind ObamaCare, at least according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll. Opposition
and support for the law is becoming more polarized, particularly as we approach
this election. The administration hasn't won any real victories by making it
past this March 31st deadline.
If anything, the American people are more frustrated than ever as the
administration furiously tries to spin things as a victory.
