Carole J. Malkin, R.I.P.
As
some of you know, my beloved mom-in-law, Carole Malkin, battled
late-stage melanoma for the past year. She was a breast cancer survivor,
world traveler, novelist, and grandmother of seven who possessed the
gentlest of souls and the most valiant of hearts. Today, Carole passed
away in her home in Colorado Springs. She leaves behind husband Richard,
daughter Karin, son Jesse, and an army of family and friends forever
enriched and transformed by her kindness, love, and wisdom. I am
infinitely blessed to have been a part of her orbit. R.I.P.

because even the giant red herring’s hard drive has been “accidentally”
erased...
