10 Reasons Why U.S. Military Members May Hate Obama
The Military Times recently published a poll that
showed only 15 percent of the U.S. military approves of President
Obama. Meanwhile his disapproval rating went from 40 percent in 2009, to
55 percent in 2014.
Below is a list of some of the reasons why members of the U.S. military might not be such big fans of the Commander in Chief:
1)Sending Pink Slips to Soldiers Serving in War Zones
In July of 2014, according to Fox News,
“Gen. John Campbell told Congress that 1,100 soldiers, including some
currently serving in Afghanistan, would be receiving pink slips due to
the sequestration budget cuts to the Defense Department.” What better
way to boost morale for our troops serving overseas then for the Obama
Administration to fire them while they’re still under the daily threat
from terrorists and serving the country.
2)Bergdahl Prisoner Swap
The Obama Administration sent a clear message to American troops
when they decided to send five of the most-high valued Guantanamo Bay
detainees back to the Middle East (where sources say
they’ll live in 5 star villas). These callous Islamic killers are
likely to return to the battlefield where they could pose a threat to
U.S. soldiers and Marines.
3)Blocking off the World War II Memorial During the Government Shutdown
During the 2013 government shutdown, the Obama Administration went
out of its way to deny aging World War II veterans access to the World
War II memorial in Washington, D.C. Even though it would have been
cheaper to leave the monuments open, emails obtained by National Review Online prove that the Department of the Interior and National Park Service closed the monuments to prove a point.
4)The VA Scandal
As Sean often points out, President Obama seems to lack urgency when
it comes to just about any crisis going on in the country or worldwide.
Thus, it may come as no surprise that when news broke of the horrible
conditions, cover-ups and deaths at VA hospitals across America, it took
President Obama weeks before he commented on the matter. ...continue reading

Tone Deaf Administration
As the world is waking up to the threat of radical Islamic terrorism,
Barack Obama has decided that now is the appropriate time to release
more al Qaeda terrorists from Guantanamo Bay. Meanwhile, Secretary of
State John Kerry is traveling to Paris … to give hugs?
After universal criticism for failing to attend the weekend rally
against terrorism, John Kerry tried to save face by announcing a trip to
Paris. While the gesture was too little, too late, Kerry doubled-down
by stating that the purpose of his trip was to give Paris “a big hug.”
Kerry said he plans to "to share a big hug with Paris and express the
affection of the American people for France and for our friends there
who have been through a terrible time."
Is “a terrible time” what this administration is now going to call a
radical Islamic terrorist attack? How about an apology or some
acknowledgement of the huge misstep by the United States in failing to
support France and other world leaders in their condemnation of radical
Islamic terrorism?
It's not as though this administration has an aversion to apologies. After all, the president went on a global apology tour, apologizing for America and our actions.
And as if Kerry's “hug” isn't bad enough ...
Al Qaeda in Yemen claimed responsibility for the Charlie Hebdo attack
in Paris, and in a stunning, tone-deaf move, the Obama administration
just announced that it is releasing five Yemeni terrorist suspects from
Guantanamo Bay.
Obama's ideology has driven him to empty Gitmo since being elected.
Yet despite the rise of radical Islamic terrorism throughout his
presidency, his ideology remains fixed.
Meanwhile, the recidivism rate of Gitmo detainees returning to the battlefield is reported by some to be as high as 30%.
Obama and his administration just doesn't seem to get it. |
