Delano Cowan, a 16-year-old junior for the Cardinals Hayes HS football team, died on Saturday night, police and family confirmed.

Michigan woman, 75, to be sentenced for 1998 beating death of teenage granddaughter

Lois Janish with an open count of murder in the death of 14-year-old Coral Hall. The girl disappeared in 1998 and her body has never been found. Janish was Hall's grandmother. The two were said to have been fighting. Lois Janish of Flint pleaded no contest to second-degree murder in the death of 14-year-old Coral Hall. She disappeared in 1998 after using a pay phone near the White Horse Tavern in Flint.
