Dartmouth College fraternity probed for for expecting pledges to drink saltwater, enter kiddie pool filled with condiments

In a new book, a former fraternity member reveals the seamy details of hazing practices at elite Dartmouth University where pledges were ordered to swim through a kiddie pool filled with urine, feces and vomit in their boxer shorts. In “Confessions of an Ivy League Frat Boy,” whistleblower Andrew Lohse (pictured) reports that wallowing in the pool of human waste was only one of the disgusting or dangerous hazing rituals he and others were subjected to as Sigma Alpha Epsilon pledges in 2009. The national Sigma Alpha Epsilon organization released no details, including what the supposed hazing was or when it happened, but said Monday it notified college administrators of the allegations.

Suspect in homicide case snorted heroin hidden in his butt while in custody: cops

Vincent Arcona, 27, is looked for by police for the three men shot outside of a McDonald's close to Penn Station Monday. Vincent Arcona, 27, was at the Midtown South stationhouse around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday when he reached “into his buttocks area” to “remove an object that appeared to be drug packaging.”

FBI hunts Brooklyn bank robber who chatted to teller

The FBI is seeking the public's assistance identifying an unknown subject in a bank robbery in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.
