Sean Reacts To Caller Who Accuses Him Of Bias Towards Trump
The New York Times
released a story Tuesday chronicling the tension among conservative
media figures as the battle for delegates drags out between Donald
Trump and Ted Cruz. Some have endorsed Ted Cruz, others have come out in
favor of Donald Trump. And some have done their best to remain neutral,
often resulting in criticism from both sides.
On Tuesday's radio show, a caller named Darlene suggested that Sean
Hannity has shown a bias towards Donald Trump, prompting Sean to explain
how he views his role in the GOP primary.
The conversation started with a debate over the charges filed by
Michelle Fields against Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and how
Darlene finds Trump's overall character to be offensive. As the
conversation developed, she criticized Sean for not taking more calls on
this issue.
"You're mischaracterizing what I'm saying. If you're a Trump supporter
you're going to have one view, if you're a Cruz supporter you're going
to have another view," Sean explained. "My overarching comment is that
if this continues - if we don't get focused on issues fast - I think it
hurts the chances to beat Hillary. Which to me is the bigger picture."
"If I put a Cruz supporter and a Trump supporter on, they're going to
have a very different interpretation of the [Fields/Lewandowski] event,"
Hannity said.
As it became clear that Darlene doesn't believe Trump can beat Hillary,
Sean said she should go out and support Cruz both through donations and
volunteering. But Darlene didn't believe that Sean was sincere.
"I just got done telling you to follow your heart. Vote for Ted Cruz. I
would also add you should campaign for him. If you have money you should
donate to him if that's where your heart is."
Sean then addressed the fact that he hasn't come out in favor of a single candidate...(continue reading) |

Hollywood Liberal Susan Sarandon Prefers Trump To Hillary
Actress
Susan Sarandon, a hardcore liberal and Bernie Sanders supporter,
implied she would vote for Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton if those
are the choices in November.
In an interview with MSNBC's Chris Hayes, Sarandon said, "Some people
feel Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately... If he gets
in, then things will really explode."
WATCH: Sarandon suggests Trump could be better choice for president than Clinton
Hayes asked if that was a dangerous line of thinking, but Sarandon said it was time for a serious shake up to the status quo.
"If you think that it's pragmatic to shore up the status quo right now, then you're not in touch with the status quo," she said.
Sarandon cited Clinton's donations from supporters on fracking and
inaction on raising the minimum wage as two issues that show she is part
of an establishment that needed to be upended. Based on these
statements, she believes a Trump presidency would escalate
dissatisfaction in America and lead to revolution. |
