What The Polls Are Saying About Tonight's Wisconsin Primary
The
GOP candidates are squaring off in the state of Wisconsin today. The
winner of the Wisconsin Primary will take home the state's 42
winner-take-all delegates.
Most polls have Texas Senator Ted Cruz leading in the Badger State. The Real Clear Politics Polling
average has Ted Cruz and Donald Trump polling at 39.2% and 34.5%
respectively, with Ohio Governor John Kasich trailing the leaders with
20% of the vote.
Despite Cruz's lead in the RCP average, one recently released poll may
be throwing some cold water on the Texas Senator's chances. According to
an ARG poll,
Donald Trump is actually running ahead of Senator Cruz 42%-32%, a
margin of 10 points. However, most polls over the past several weeks
have Cruz with a comfortable lead, so there is a possibility that the
ARG poll is an outlier.
