New Poll: Donald Trump Surges In Support Nationally Just a day after a Quinnipiac poll showed the presidential race tightening in several critical swing states, a new poll is showing a tightening national race between presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump and Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton. The poll, conducted by Reuters-Ipsos, shows the New York billionaire and former Secretary of State in a statistical tie in potential November 8th matchup.

According to Reuters-Ipsos:

In the most recent survey, 41 percent of likely voters supported Clinton, the Democratic front-runner, and 40 percent backed Trump, with 19 percent not decided on either yet, according to the online poll of 1,289 people conducted from Friday to Tuesday. The poll had a credibility interval of about 3 percentage points.

The results reflect a big increase in support for Trump since he knocked out U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas and Ohio Governor John Kasich last week to become the last Republican in the White House race...(continue reading)
Trump Campaign Manager Explains What They're Looking For In A VP With two more primary victories under his belt, Donald Trump is closer than ever to locking up the GOP nomination. Now, the New York billionaire has turned to choosing a vice presidential candidate. On Tuesday, the presumptive GOP nominee told the Associated Press that he has narrowed his VP search to five or six potential candidates.

Corey Lewandowski, Trump's campaign manager, is spearheading efforts to find the real estate mogul a suitable running mate.

"At the end of the day we're going to present Mr. Trump some recommendations and he will make the recommendations of who he thinks should be his running mate," Lewandowski explained on Tuesday's Hannity.
